Gay Pride Day 2000

Thirty years ago the spirit of Homosexuality targeted the city of Atlanta, Georgia to make it a safe haven and stronghold for their evil activities. The first “Gay Pride Day” celebration was attended by less than 100 people who came out the closet. The majority of the participants wore bags and mask to conceal their identity since their lifestyle was not accepted as a whole.

Every year this Sodomite spirit has been coming to our city and the Body of Christ as a whole has not taken care of the business of dealing with this Spirit. Each year the Ambassadors of Christ have hid behind their church walls complaining to each other about this homosexual sin and didn’t bother to lift up one prayer in protest. Because the City of Atlanta has rolled the welcome carpet and the Church has not said a word or prayed against this activity, it has grown tremendously and a sinful stronghold has now been established in the city with more than enough churches doing nothing.

Now on its 30th anniversary, it has grown from a few sponsors to major company sponsorship. The Mayor has become Parade Grand Marshal and the City continues to roll out the welcome rug. This evil devilish homosexual spirit has been given the key to the city while the Saints of God who have the Keys of the Kingdom of God to deal with this spirit have done nothing. Because of the non-caring attitude of the mighty believers in this city, the event has grown from 100 people to over 400,000.

We the Soul Winning Attack Team decided to obey God and war against this Spirit of Homosexuality. It was a dirty assignment, but the SWAT TEAM accepted their marching orders and entered into the enemy’s stronghold and to spread the Gospel of the Good News in love.

We accepted the call and decided not to go to Church that Sunday and go to the Gay Pride Day Parade and be the Church. The SWAT TEAM invaded and busted up the Devil’s Block Party in the name of Jesus. As soldiers in the Army of God, we couldn’t stay in our churches sitting down on a comfortable pew and not take a stand in the midst of this darkness. We are always looking for a good challenge to allow God an opportunity to reach out to someone who may be ready to change their lifestyle. Ten Anointed and appointed Soulwinning Warriors showed up to do the work for our Lord Jesus.
One of the SWAT TEAM members used to live in this lifestyle, but Praise God, he is delivered, set free, saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. He was used by Satan, but now God is using him to pull others out of this lifestyle. SWAT created a tract based on his testimony. The gospel tract doesn’t condemn homosexuals, but reaches out to them in love. It appeals them to come out of their sinful lifestyle and allow God to use them for His Glory.

We invite other loving believers to check their hearts and come down in the future. We pray that from this point the Body of Christ in the City of Atlanta will join us or find a corner in the city and pray about this event and intercede for these lost souls. If God can’t depend on His Body, then who can He trust to reach out to these unbelievers?
