We want to introduce you to a new and exciting outreach program.
It is committed to helping brothers and sisters in Christ who are
working tirelessly to carry out the Great Commission. They preach
under deplorable conditions, various hardships and suffer unimaginable
persecution in the outer most parts of the world. We must do all
we can to help them fulfill their missions in a lost and dying world
for Christ.
SWAT has established the “ MACEDONIA PROJECT ” for this
purpose. Let your money go on a mission without you leaving your
house. The name comes from a letter the Apostle Paul wrote to the
Corinth Church about how the churches of Macedonian were a good
example of giving. The MACEDONIA PROJECT name comes from II Corinthians
Chapters 8 and 9, concerning Apostle Paul’s instructions in
giving. They gave generously in their own lack and need to help
others in the Body of Christ who were in need more than they were.
Apostle Paul was commending the church in Macedonia, which consisted
of the churches of Philippi, Thessalonica and Berea. Paul was writing
the church in Corinth hoping the generosity of the Macedonians in
their own lack and need would encourage the Corinthians to give
to help their brothers in Christ in Jerusalem who needed financial
help.
The Macedonians were not rich, but they gave sacrificially to help
out others. They demonstrated their love for the advancement of
the Kingdom of God by giving when it was difficult. Many Christians
are like the believers in the Corinth church. They have excelled
in the principles of faith, know the Word of God, can preach the
mysteries of the Bible, but have not mastered the simple truth to
help their brothers and sisters in Christ who are serving to win
souls.
The Soul Winning Attack Team recognizes the Body of Christ as a
whole is wealthier now than any other time in history. Unfortunately,
we are giving and sharing less to the advancing of the Kingdom of
God. Many believers don’t understand that it is wrong to be
blessed with so much and not bless others (1 John 3:17-18). There
are some in the Body of Christ who are prospering and far too many
who are not. Very few Christians have a giving spirit, and don’t
know how to get involved other than their usual $2.50 offering each
service.
We wanted to provide you the opportunity to sow seeds or love offerings
to another Family member in the Body of Christ who so desperately
needs it. SWAT cannot do it alone. We need your help in sending
money and gospel material to these brave and anointed warriors who
are changing the world for Jesus. Luke 12:48 says, “ …For
unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required; and
to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.”
This program will help us get the financial aid, gospel material,
tracts, Bibles, etc. to those in other countries who so desperately
need the basic essentials in fulfilling the great commission to
“Go Ye”. They need us and we need you to help them. Now
is your time! (2 Corinthians 9:10-13).
We are working with different ministries around the world. They
are doing so much with so little. Please help us as we help these
brothers and sisters in Christ advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ
in their country. (1 Corinthians 12: 23-27)
