National Director for Youth For Christ (Y.F.C) in Freetown, Sierra
Leone.
The future of any nation lies in the positive utilization of its
Youths. Sources have disclosed that the Sierra Leonean youths have
been perpetrators and victims of the rebel war. There is an urgent
need to direct attention to the proper utilization of our youths
by providing them the much needed attention, audience, counsel and
support through and by various means and programs so that they will
be law-abiding, productive and divine citizens.
It was against this background that 2 dynamic and dedicated young
men who have the conviction that upholding biblical truth and caring
for the development of one another is very essential to promote
national youth ministry formed the YOUTH ON FIRE MINISTRY (Y.O.F)
S/L.
The late Collins James and myself formed this ministry on October
2, 1998 at Sumaila Town in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The aim was to
bring youths together from different churches throughout our nation.
Collins James was a military personnel who died in a rebel attack
in 1999.
