Profiles of Faith - Alex Davis

SWAT Crusader Alex went through a 360-degree life changing turn. As a young man he began having challenges with his sexuality. He eventually yielded his life to the deceptions of the Devil and began living his life as a female in total rebellion to God’s Word. Brother Alex was so deceived by the devil that he even began to take hormonal treatments.

But Glory to God for His saving grace and mercy! God opened up Alex’s eyes to the truth about his sinful lifestyle. He asked for forgiveness for his sins and repented from his old lifestyle. He was proof that God is still in the recycling business when it comes to unbelievers living in sin.

Brother Alex was a spirit filled believer on fire for Christ. He was already saved when the “SWAT TEAM” met him in Atlanta boldly declaring the Gospel. He was an inspiration to the members of SWAT and everyone he met.

Alex’s life story is featured on a new SWAT tract. His testimony was and will be used mightily by God to encourage and pull others out of illicit sexual lifestyles like him so they can be set free to live and serve God.

He was an outstanding artist doing portraits, oil paintings, sketches, etc. He was talented and had been given a gift from the Lord to paint under the anointing of God.

We thank and salute him for doing a “Job Well Done”. We thank him for all the precious memories of courage and faith he left us with after his mission on earth was completed. He was a compassionate and bold soldier in God’s Army.

*Alex was given an honorable discharge from this life on March 7, 2001. He was promoted to heaven to be with our Lord Jesus Christ forever. Brother Alex served with distinction on the frontline fighting for lost souls to be saved.
