Are you Ready for a Revolution?
The Body of Christ is going through a Spiritual Revolution that
is taking place outside the comfort of the church walls. This war
was inevitable because the Church has become an Oprah Winfrey talk
show complaining about all the things it doesn't have while the
world becomes a Jerry Springer episode with its perverted sexual
additions and lost moral values. The Church has become a self righteous
social club with inebriated members intoxicated with the gathering
of worldly possessions. We are expected to have the right car, the
right house, the right suit, the right Bible and of course the right
shout. Is this what they mean by "blessed?"
The days of Personification Image worship are over. We don't go
to Church to pay homage to the person in the pulpit; we go to honor
our Heavenly Father and to receive instructions. Is the lure of
someone in a fancy robe or expensive suit entertaining you for an
hour or so your enticement to go to Church? Have we reduced the
worship of Jesus Christ down to nothing more than a token gesture
we do on Sundays?
The Church is not an arena where we sit and cheer as if we are watching
our favorite team compete. This is not a spectator sport where we
dress up to hear the hottest man or woman of God entertain us. Christians
have become too complacent because they don°Øt like confrontation.
Many don't know how to fight the devil because they don't believe
he exists.
The real reason we go to hear a man or woman of God is because they
have an anointed word from God. They should help equip us for the
next battle. We are to impose the will of God in the earth. Don't
go to Church because you want to be pacified. Go so you can learn
how to mortify your members and live for Christ. Your death should
give life to the lost.
When are Christians going to stop praying for themselves and be
more concerned about storming the Gates of Hell for lost souls?
This Revolution will be championed on the battlefield of the streets
not on the plush carpet inside our pristine church walls and padded
pews.
Are you ready?
